Making Coffee with the Moka Express:
The moka pot consists of three parts:
– Bottom chamber for water
– Metal filter for ground coffee
– Upper chamber for brewed coffee
Fill the bottom chamber with water (just below the safety valve), place ground coffee into the filter (without pressing it down), assemble the parts, and place it on the stovetop. As the water heats up and boils, pressure pushes it up through the coffee into the top chamber.
Make sure the handle is positioned away from the heat source.
Important: When choosing the size of your moka pot, keep in mind that it is designed to brew the full capacity each time – it is not intended for making smaller amounts.
