Aeropress Flow Control Cap

The Flow Control Filter Cap is an additional attachment for the AeroPress coffee maker that provides complete control over the brewing process. Thanks to its special valve mechanism, it prevents coffee from dripping before pressing begins, allowing for a longer extraction time and experimentation with coarser coffee grounds.

Full Brewing Control

This attachment easily fits the AeroPress Original, AeroPress Go, and AeroPress Clear. It stops the flow of liquid until you start pressing, allowing you to adjust the brew time and use different grind sizes, including pre-ground coffee.

Espresso-like Crema

When used with a paper filter and dark roasted coffee, the Flow Control Filter Cap builds pressure that helps create a rich, creamy foam similar to espresso crema.

Multiple Filter Combinations

It is compatible with the AeroPress stainless steel metal filter or AeroPress paper micro-filters (they can also be used together), allowing you to experiment with different flavor profiles.

Compatibility

The Flow Control Filter Cap fits AeroPress Original, AeroPress Go, and AeroPress Clear, but it is not compatible with the AeroPress XL.
