Acaia New Pearl (2021) is a premium coffee scale engineered for precision pour-over brewing. Designed for professional baristas, specialty coffee shops, and home enthusiasts, it delivers accurate measurements and advanced brewing features to help achieve consistent, repeatable results.
The latest generation Pearl introduces several significant upgrades, including real-time flow-rate monitoring, faster response time, improved sunlight readability, enhanced battery life, and convenient USB-C charging.
One of its standout features is the ability to monitor weight, brewing time, and water flow rate simultaneously. Real-time flow-rate measurement helps refine pouring technique and maintain consistency throughout every brew. The scale has a maximum capacity of 2,000 g and measures with an accuracy of 0.1 g, making it ideal for pour-over brewing as well as weighing portafilters and coffee accessories.
With Bluetooth connectivity, the Pearl pairs seamlessly with the Acaia app for iOS and Android. The app allows users to monitor brewing parameters in real time, access brewing guides, record recipes, and analyze brewing performance.
The scale features five intelligent brewing modes tailored to different coffee preparation methods:
