AeroPress Flow Control Filter Cap is a practical accessory that provides greater control over the coffee brewing process. It is designed to prevent water and coffee from dripping through the filter before you start pressing the plunger, allowing you to extend the brewing time and experiment with different recipes.
Complete Brew Control: The Flow Control Filter Cap keeps the coffee inside the AeroPress chamber until you begin pressing the plunger. This allows you to extend the brewing time and use coarser-ground coffee without the brew dripping into the cup prematurely.
Espresso-Style Crema: When used with a paper filter and dark roast coffee, the Flow Control Filter Cap uses the pressure created during brewing to produce espresso-style crema.
Filter Flexibility: The attachment can be used with AeroPress paper micro-filters, the AeroPress Stainless Steel Filter, or even both filters at the same time. By combining different filters, you can experiment with the texture, body and flavour profile of your coffee.
Compatibility: The AeroPress Flow Control Filter Cap is compatible with AeroPress Original, AeroPress Go and AeroPress Clear coffee makers.
*Not compatible with the AeroPress XL model.
