Designed in 1941 by Dr. Peter Schlumbohm, the Chemex combines scientific precision, functionality, and timeless design. Its distinctive hourglass shape, paired with original Chemex paper filters, delivers a remarkably clean extraction that highlights the natural aromas and complexity of your coffee.

Crafted from a single piece of high-quality heat-resistant glass, the brewer does not absorb odors, oils, or residues from previous brews. This ensures that every cup retains the authentic flavor and aroma of freshly brewed coffee.

Brewing is simple and takes approximately 4–6 minutes. For optimal results, it is recommended to use 6–7 grams of freshly ground coffee per 100 ml of water together with original Chemex paper filters.
